This coming week, our inquisitive students are starting their wonder projects. They have all chosen a subject and will be researching or exploring their subject over the next few weeks. They are working to create a non-fiction book showing their learning about their wonder.
Mentors Needed! As not all answers are found in books, we are looking for mentors to help students explore their wonder. If you or someone you know has experience or knowledge in any of the following topics and would be willing to be a mentor, please let me know. Mentors come on a one-time or continual basis to share knowledge and guide students in their wondering. Wonder topics needing mentors: - engines and gears - First humans and the beginning of the Earth - water- conservation/molecules/origins - War- WWI or WWII or anyone who has served in the armed forces - Magic General Parent Wonder Volunteers Wonder projects are exciting, engaging and stimulating, but they work the best with many people helping out.
